Hi! I'm happy you're here...

I'm Whitney, a professional third-wheel.

I'm a corporate girly who needed a creative outlet, and after years of doing photography as a hobby, I started my wedding photography business. This job has taken me coast to coast, and has connected me with some of the most amazing people.

But Whit Huns Photo to me is not just a business, it is a way for me to create art and display love stories that can be preserved through time. So let's do this thing! Let's document your love <3

My Process

01.

Say hello! s

I would love to get to know you a little better! When you are interested in a session you can send in an inquiry on my website. If you are interested in wedding photography I will send you a short questionnaire to know the basics information about your upcoming wedding date.

02.

We make this about you.

I don't have a standard form for my sessions. I like to customize each session to your needs! We chat about your creative vision for the shoot, share mood boards, and make sure we are on the same page. If we feel comfortable moving forward, then we...

03.

Mark our calendars!

We find a date that will for for both of us and we start prepping for the big day!

04.

But it doesn't end there...

My communication with my clients is open and frequent! I don't want there to be any questions left unanswered before and after the session. After you have the pictures back, I want updates! We send Christmas cards and keep in touch! Never be afraid to reach out even after our session is over :)

You've got questions? I've got answers!

Let's see if we are the right fit!

Other than style and photography aesthetic, one of the most important parts of this process is the price of the service! Weddings budgets are important, and I strive to be clear and transparent with pricing.

The best way to find out if we will be the right match for each other is to first check out my investment tab! Wedding photography really is an investment and will help you remember your big day. Once you have reviewed that page, reach out! We will talk about shoot details and finalize the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

For a typical one hour shoot, you will receive 75+ images. You will recieve a variety of color and black and white images. I love to overshoot so I can provide my clients with plenty of options!

For a full wedding gallery you may receive anywhere from 400-800 photos depending on the amount of coverage you needed.

What is your turn around time?

My turn around time for one hour sessions like family photos, engagements, or other portrait sessions is anywhere from 2-3 weeks.

For weddings that require much more time, my turn around time is closer to 6 weeks. Specific timelines may be included in your contract when you book with me.

How do we get our photos back?

You will receive your photos through an online gallery where you can download them to anything that has an internet connection! It's also easily sharable will all your friends and fam, so you can show off how cute you are. You can also order stunning prints through the gallery!

What type of gear do you use?

I shoot on the Canon R5 and Canon R! For lenses I use the Canon 35mm 1.4, a Canon 50mm 1.2, and my Canon 24-70mm. For areas with more space to work with I even use my Canon 70-200mm.

How should we dress for our session?

Let's make these pictures timeless! To do so I always encourage my clients to wear neutral colors like black, brown, gray, tan, green, blue, and white. Try to avoid loud patterns like large floral prints. We want all the focus on you and your love rather than your clothes!

What if we are awkward in front of the camera?

We've all been there- but I'm here to help you feel like a professional model!

I come with an arsenal of poses and prompts to get you comfortable in front of the camera, so don't stress!

Can we have a second shooter?

Yes! While second shooters are not needed for regular sessions, I actually recommend having a second shooter for weddings.

There will be an additional cost to have a second shooter, starting at $75/hr.

What are your travel fees?

All travel fees will be included in the final quote! After we have discussed the location of the shoot I will let you know how much it would cost to travel. If flights or hotels are needed it would be covered by the client and included in the quote.

Once the quote has been sent out and the contract is signed, there will be no further fees added for travel!
